A visible project for the school community to demonstrate what Landcare involves - Create a native garden with a reconciliation component (incorporate plants commonly used by Tasmanian Aboriginals) as well as a beautiful space for people to enjoy by incorporating simple paths and seating. If funding allows also set up group with tools and storage to assist easy operation of the group.
Methods
In Landcare class students to plan and map garden design, determine materials required, prepare a project plan on timing, complete during Landcare classes.

Native vegetation, improving habitats for native animals.
