Create a native food forest to develop links between our science curriculum, foods curriculum and indigenous perspectives for the students at Queechy High School.
Methods
A project that ties in with Science Week (depending on the time of year that we can begin). Groups of students will be involved in creating the landscaped feature garden and signage to promote education about indigenous food plants.
Natural Values
Improving biodiversity by planting native Tasmanian plants. Creating an education opportunity that can be utilised by Science teachers, Foods teachers and for indigenous projects and students.
