Remove Niten plantation variety nearing the end of their life on the southern boundary which produce a lot a leaf litter which tends to smother the grasses. Assistance with purchasing and planting of native species of a windbreak nature attractive to native birdlife would provide birdlife corridors for food and shade and shelter and provide much needed habitat with the added effect of reducing the effect of the weather on the property.
Methods
Have commenced work removing non native species. Plantings as advised and directed by nurseryman. Will provide our own labour or utilise volunteers
Natural Values
Encouraging and protecting native birdlife and reducing soil erosion on farm.
