Achievement Plans

The project aims to enhance habitat for local threatened species which includes the Eastern Barred Bandicoot which has been observed on the property. The installation of native shelter belts will increase habitat, increase biodiversity and ensure safe movement for wildlife. A further section (riparian zone) along the creek line will also be planted out to improve water quality to support other species such as local platypus. It is also hoped that this project can be opened up for community attendance by facilitating an education seminar on increasing biodiversity on farms.

Natural Values

Enhancing and restoring the Riparian zone along Natone Creek. Restoring native vegetation on the farm area with local plantings specific to wet eucalypt obliqua forests. Protecting local habitat for threatened species (e.g. eastern barred bandicoot).
