Our aim is to create an outdoor classroom that can be used by students and the community. It will be adjacent to the football oval and near classrooms in a high visibility area of the school. Students will have a calming space. They will be able to utilise the space to conduct learning that relates to the science curriculum, via plant classification, soil testing comparisons, quadrat studies, carbon cycling, native bees, quadrat and diversity comparisons and habitat understandings. Other courses include spaces for illustration, native tucker, possible performances and mindfulness activities.
