The project proposes to extend the boardwalk by an additional 30m. The project will serve several purposes. The slope is already an informal track that visitors use to take a short cut back to the carpark. The proposed construction will assist with maintenance and erosion of the site, and help prevent the spreading of weeds. The landings will also provide an option for visitors to gain an elevated perspective of the area and its natural beauty
