The aim is to revegetate some open areas that have been weeded and where natural regeneration will take too long.
Methods
The above plants will be planted in the cleared areas. We have stakes and plant guards to protect them. On-going, annual weed management will occur in the sites until the plants are established and weeds in control.
Natural Values
We are enhancing and restoring a remnant area of coastal vegetation, susceptible to coastal erosion and weed incursion. Our work also provides valuable habitat for the local fauna species that reside in this vegetation corridor.
