The Friends of Longley Area Group have noted a marked increase+++ in Spanish Heath and other weed infestation along riverbanks on properties along Huon Rd Longley. As the property owners concerned do not have the capacity to manage the severity of the issue themselves and our group does not have the resources to assist, we are seeking grant funding to contract Tasmanian Land Management to eradicate these weeds before the situation becomes more dire and there is spread to other areas along the river.
