Hold a one day event to promote awareness and education about Swift Parrot Habitat. Ways to create, preserve and increase habitat. Each attendant can take home between 2-10 blu gums and tree guards to take home to plant after a demonstration at the event. Make a SP nesting box to take home and install with appropriate instruction. Tour of confirmed nesting site in Garden Island Creek from last season. Guest speakers Traditional Indigenous Fire Practitioners to talk about protecting big trees from fire. Kids activities including craft making parrots Lunch provided
