Control of primarily Blackberries but also some other minor infestations of weeds such as Bridal Creeper to protect the high conservation values of the site

Methods

Weeds will be dug out, cut and painted or spot sprayed depending on what is the most appropriate technique to maximise natural regeneration of native species

Natural Values

The Boggy Creek area contains three threatened forest communities Melaleuca ericifolia forest, wet E. Viminalis forest (currently being considered for EPBC listing) and coastal E globulus/viminalis forest. It is habitat for Swift Parrots, Spotted tailed Quolls, White Belled Sea Eagles (including active nest) and Giant Velvet Worm
