On Monday 23rd May, Her Excellency the Honourable Barbara Baker AC visited Cooee-Camdale Coastcare's current working site.

Landcare Tasmania's Peter Stronach and Theresa Chapman joined volunteers from both Cooee-Camdale Coastcare and Penguin Rehab & Release for the Governor's visit.

Both Her Excellency and husband Professor Chalmers had a lot of questions - the Governor has a particular interest in penguin rehabilitation! She was presented with some stories of the penguins that have been in care with Penguin Rehab & Release.
