Landcare Tasmania is seeking a Devolved Grants Coordinator to help deliver grant programs that support community-led environmental action across the state.

Location: Hobart (with statewide travel as required)
Employment Type: 0.8 FTE
Salary: $83,000 pro rata, per annum.

About Landcare Tasmania

Landcare Tasmania is the peak body for Tasmania's grassroots Landcare movement. As a not-for-profit and registered charity, we support and empower over 8,000 volunteers and 270+ member groups to protect and enhance the sustainability of Tasmania's land, water, and natural environments. We provide the resources and connections that enable local communities to lead conservation and sustainable land management across the state. Our passionate team works alongside community groups, landholders, businesses, government, and environmental organisations to achieve meaningful outcomes for Tasmania's landscapes and waterways. About the role

This role is an opportunity to work at the intersection of community engagement, project delivery and environmental impact. You’ll coordinate grant rounds from development through to reporting, support applicants and funding recipients, and help ensure funding reaches the people and projects making a real difference on the ground. From working with Landcare groups and volunteers to collaborating with partners and stakeholders, you'll play a key role in strengthening Tasmania’s grassroots environmental movement.

What you'll bring

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in grants administration, funding programs, project coordination, community development or a related field.
• Experience administering government, philanthropic or community funding programs.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Experience preparing reports, monitoring budgets and managing compliance requirements.
• Experience within the not-for-profit, environmental, local government or community sector is highly desirable.

Qualifications & Certifications

• Qualification in Business Administration, Project Management, Community Development, Environmental Management, Public Administration or a related discipline.
Experience managing grant funding programs and acquittals.

• Experience using CRM and online grant management software.
• Current Driver’s Licence.
• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
