In 2025 a project to raise awareness in the community about the amount of dog faeces on Clifton Beach was initiated. The September working bee collected dog poo along the length of the beach. 676 poos were collected, the highest density near the car park and public access points with almost 5 poos per metre along the beach near the surf club.
This is a follow up collection - the data will establish an annual baseline for this site.
