This year’s Ecofest promises to be even bigger and brighter than last year’s, when the wharf at Ulverstone comes alive again with the biggest festival for sustainable living in the North West. The theme of this year’s Ecofest is Back to the Future: where the Wisdom of the past meets the innovation of the future.

Run by the North West Environment Centre entry to the festival is by gold coin donation so come along and discover how our past can lead us to solutions for our climate challenged future. The festival offers an opportunity to engage with some of our wonderful local community groups, businesses and individuals who are willing to share their expertise in the areas of sustainability, well being and the environment.

There will be stalls, workshops and talks as well as food, buskers and children’s activities to complete the experience. Come and meet our special guest Tasmania’s very own “Food Guru” and Senior Citizen of the Year, Sally Wise. Bring your old batteries, mobiles, spectacles to be recycled. Cycle, walk, car share and don’t forget your own water bottle.
