Role Description

POSTION TITLE: Events Team Volunteer 

ROLE: Supporting Landcare Tasmania in running various events throughout the year

LOCATION: Statewide 

COMMITMENT:  Event volunteer call-outs sent prior to each event.  Commitment subject to volunteer availability for event dates and location

  • Physically able to do light manual handling tasks
  • good communication skills

RESPONSIBLE TO: Project Officer

Position responsibilities

Duties

Assist the Project Manager with basic event duties  

·        Venue setup and pack down (chairs, tables, projector screens)

·        Meet and greet and ushering

·        Pre-event flyer distribution (notice boards, cafes)
