The Huon Valley Landcare Nursery provides local provenance native plants to Landcare groups and landowners in the Huon Valley to support revegetation projects that benefit the community by increasing native habitat, improving landscape health, or providing an educational resource (e.g. bushfoods gardens). The nursery also provides plants for Council projects to promote the use of natives in street plantings, and supports a local seed collecting network to allow for the adoption of best-practice provenancing strategies to improve the success and resilience of revegetation projects.
