Landcare Tasmania's 2018 Annual General Meeting is rapidly approaching, and all members are encouraged to attend.

It will be held at 4.00 pm on Friday 28 September in the Chapel Room (first floor) of the New Sydney Hotel, 87 Bathurst St, Hobart.

There's the usual business that an AGM has to deal with, to ensure we continue to operate legally.  Plus we'll be appointing some new faces to our Board and our Members Council. 

The Board and Members Council are critical to Landcare Tasmania being able to pursue it's purpose to represent, support, strengthen and grow Tasmania's community Landcare movement.  We've made some major steps forward in the last year, so the AGM is also a great opportunity to meet our volunteer office bearers and staff who are making that all happen.

The major business of the AGM will be:

• Report from the Chair
• Approval of 2017/18 audited financial statements
• Appointment of auditor for 2018/19
• Ratification of new people to our Members Council
• Ratification of new people to form part of our Board

Afterwards stay for nibbles and a drink and have a chat!
