The Group assists the Clarence City Council with the maintenance of the dunes at Bellerive and Howrah Beaches and the fore-shore on Second Bluff. Activities focus on weed and rubbish removal and selective planting of native vegetation. The primary objective is to restore and maintain the natural bio-diversity of the dunes.

Meet at the picnic table at the Beach street path at Bellerive for some weed identification tips and weeding walk through. We'll aim to work 10am to 11am, regroup at 11am for a cuppa and weed report, and then continue weeding until 12pm. So bring a snack and a thermos/drink 

Also remember sunscreen, hats, closed in footwear and long pants. BYO tools
