Help the local community restore Newnham creek as they remove weeds and plant native trees and shrubs to increase the local biodiversity. 

Activities for the day include:

• Planting native trees, shrubs and grasses along the creek 
• Watering and mulching around the plants
• Installing tree guards
• Removing weeds such as blackberries 

Please meet at the northern end of Brooks road at the UTAS campus at 10:00am. Bring appropriate footwear, sun protection, water, weather appropriate clothing and gardening gloves.
