Pitch your idea
Three $2,000 opportunities to turn local ideas into action.
Landcare Tasmania and Recycle Rewards are partnering through The Gathering 2026 to support practical ideas that benefit local communities and the environment.
Recycle Rewards is Tasmania’s container refund scheme, helping reduce litter and increase recycling while creating fundraising opportunities for community groups. Landcare groups can build on this connection to keep eligible containers out of local environments, engage their communities and support their activities.
Got an idea? Pitch it!
Three current Landcare Tasmania member groups or School Landcare Associate members, will each receive $2,000 to bring a local idea to life. This could include collection infrastructure, equipment, community campaigns, school partnerships or new fundraising initiatives.
Applications are open to current Landcare Tasmania member groups across Tasmania. You don’t need to attend The Gathering to apply.
