Our Silver Hill Rd group in Cygnet currently draws volunteers from three families along Silver Hill Rd to Geards Road, Cygnet. The valley in which we are neighbours is an important wildlife corridor for devils, quolls, eagles, finches, ringtail / brushtail possums, Pademelons/Bennetts wallabies, bandicoots and beautifully boisterous Turbos. The old pasture/paddocks that track along the two winter creeks link us all and requires serious weed eradication (blackberry, thistle). The work in progress is to weed, plant and restore native grasses, endemic trees and bush habitat across all three properties.
