Join us for a Seagrass Discovery Day!

Keen to learn about Tassie's seagrass meadows? Come and join Friends of Seagrass Tasmania for a fun, family-friendly morning exploring the hidden world of seagrass at Trial Bay. All ages welcome! Learn about seagrass meadows, discover the animals that live among the leaves, and take part in hands-on educational activities. We'll be heading out for a wade and snorkel to collect real monitoring data — a great introduction to citizen science, no experience necessary. A free BBQ lunch, tea and coffee will be provided.

Friends of Seagrass Tasmania Inc. is a community-led association that brings volunteers together to monitor and raise awareness of seagrass meadows in Tasmanian coastal and estuarine environments.
