This topic has been requested by CLT members who are looking ahead and wondering how best they can ensure that the conservation values of their properties are upheld into the future. Victoria Marles, the CEO of the Trust for Nature, will speak about her organisation’s experiences of selling covenanted land. We will also learn about the implementation of government legislation covering covenants in Tasmania from Helen Crawford, Program Manager for DPIPWE’s Private Land Conservation Program. A real estate agent, staff from the Tasmanian Land Conservancy and conservation landholders will share their insights into effective ways of buying and/or selling conservation land.
