Gathering_2017_C.jpg

Save the date: Saturday, December 2nd 2017

The 2017 Tasmanian Landcare gathering will be held on Saturday 2 December. Its a great opportunity to meet local landcarers, see their work and celebrate the best ideas in Tasmanian Landcare.

This year instead of a conference we are hosting four fun and exciting field trips, followed by lunch for presentation of the Tasmanian Landcare Awards. Each field trip will start from a central location in Launceston. Each trip will have a different theme and itinerary, visiting local Landcare sites and the people who care for them. There will be walks and talks at several stops along the way, and morning tea.

The day will end with a delicious lunch to celebrate the Tasmanian Landcare Awards at the renowned Josef Chromy vinyard in Relbia. Our MC for the event will be Tasmanian entertainer John X, so expect a fun and zippy Awards ceremony, and of course there will be inspiring Landcare stories about the fantastic work of our Awards finalists and winners.

Ticket prices include a field trip and lunch, and you will be returned by bus to Launceston after the Awards.

You can let us know your interest in taking part by signing up below. We will send you an invitation to get your tickets when they go on sale in September. Limited spaces are available for this event, so sign up to avoid missing out.
