The inaugural 2018 Tamar Sustainable Living Expo will provide a 'one stop shop' to help northern Tasmanians reduce their household bills and ecological footprints and a platform for community groups to share their activities and develop new projects. Adopting sustainable living practices provides positive benefits to the environment, human health, household and business budgets and long term energy certainty and security.
There will be a range of exhibitors delivering sustainable living activities, workshops, talks and interactive displays. Outdoor areas will be dedicated to activities including sustainable transport. Tamar NRM will also link up with Harvest Market Launceston on Expo day to showcase the sustainable practices of local farmers.
This is a great way to discover the ways that you can make changes to help the environment and your hip-pocket!
Cost: $5 adults, $2 concession, free for children under 18
