Western Creek

November 08, 2026 at 10:00am - 12pm

Join Friends of the Great Western Tiers for a walk and talk through a Western Creek property to explore practical weed management and restoration on private land.

Hear about the work the group has undertaken, see restoration and weed management in practice, and learn about spurge laurel, an emerging weed threat in the area. Friends of the Great Western Tiers will share their local experience, what they’ve been doing on the property and the approaches being used to manage weeds and restore the landscape.

This is an opportunity to get out on the ground, learn from local experience and talk with others about the challenges and practicalities of managing weeds in the Great Western Tiers.

The walk follows Yoga at the Great Western Tiers, held at the same property from 9.00am to 10.00am. Join us for morning tea from 10.00am before the walk begins at 10.30am. Yoga is separately ticketed.
