TLF Plant Grant

A small grant to supplement ongoing member-led projects that include native revegetation.

The Tasmanian Landcare Fund (TLF) Plant Grant was launched in 2023 as part of our Member Support Program. It is offered to Landcare Tasmania members who have an existing expression of interest in the Project Bank with a revegetation component.

Expressions of Interest submitted to our Project Bank are invited to apply for up to 300 native plants local to their area, appropriate to the local site conditions, for the purpose of enhancing native biodiversity. We recognise that successful planting goes beyond just providing the plants; it requires a dedicated effort to prepare the site and care for the plants until they are established. This grant is designed to support projects that show a commitment to these ongoing efforts.

This grant opportunity is available thanks to generous donations to the Tasmanian Landcare Fund. We will continue to offer this grant opportunity annually, as donations allow.

If you are interested in grant opportunities like this, we invite you to become a member and submit a project expression of interest to our Project Bank.

"Thank you [ for this grant ] from the roots of our trees...One of the best things about tree planting is the incredible age range of our group. We have people of all ages—from young children to elders—each playing an integral role in planting, development, and the collective care of our island. It’s truly remarkable to witness such a diverse group of individuals coming together to plant and prepare for the future generations of the island, sharing their skills, wisdom, and love for the land. It’s an inspiring effort that ensures the continued growth and sustainability of Huon Island"
