Waterworks Valley Landcare Group has been active since 1993, in restoring habitat and improving the natural and built amenity in the Waterworks Road area. The group works mainly on Council land along the banks of the Sandy Bay Rivulet, dealing with weeds and undertaking revegetation works.

Monthly working bees are held along Sandy Bay Rivulet - Our working bees take place on the 1st Sunday of the month from 10:00 until around 12:30, and include morning tea.
