We are seeking an experienced Project Officer to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity to support meaningful environmental projects across Lutruwita/Tasmania.

About the role
Basis of employment: part-time
Salary: $65,000-$70,000 + super (FTE)
Location: Hobart, Lutruwita/Tasmania
We are seeking a part-time Project Officer to join our team, to assist in:
- Developing and delivering projects within the Landscape Restoration, Outreach, and Member Services programs.
- Ensuring project delivery aligns with timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations.
- Assisting with grant management, including reporting, acquittals, and compliance.
- Building relationships with members, government, and partner organisations.
- Providing general administrative support, including handling inquiries, CRM updates, and correspondence.
We are looking for someone to work 3 days per week, and we can offer some flexibility on the days and times you wish to work your hours.
Requirements
To be successful, you will need to have:
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Experience in grant management, including preparing proposals, reporting, and managing acquittals.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including members, contractors, government agencies, and community groups.
- Computer literacy in common office software, e.g. Google Workspace, MS Office, Zoom, and willingness to learn new software systems.
- Ability to analyse data and report on project outcomes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage risks associated with project delivery.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in administrative tasks, including drafting reports and correspondence.
- A registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Tasmanian) and first aid certificate, or the ability to obtain prior to commencement.
- A current Australian driver’s licence.
