Location: Hobart, TAS
Employment Type: Part-time, 30.4 hours per week
Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year (pro rata, based on experience)

Landcare Tasmania is the peak body for Tasmania's grassroots Landcare movement. As a not-for-profit and registered charity, we support and empower over 8,000 volunteers and 270+ member groups to protect and enhance the sustainability of Tasmania's land, water, and natural environments. We provide the resources and connections that enable local communities to lead conservation and sustainable land management across the state. About the role
The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Board, Members Council, and management team. This role ensures smooth day-to-day operations, contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of internal processes, and supports governance and HR functions.

Your core responsibilities include:
Executive Support
- Manage the CEO's diary, communications, travel, and task follow-up
- Prepare briefing notes, correspondence, and materials for meetings and advocacy
- Capture and record key information from CEO meetings into the CRM
Board and Governance
- Coordinate Board, Members Council, and subcommittee meetings including agendas, minutes, and logistics
- Lead the coordination of the Annual General Meeting
- Maintain governance records, decision-tracking systems, and constitutional compliance
Management and HR Support
- Coordinate internal meetings, recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, and performance review processes
- Assist with position descriptions, HR records, and policy development
- Support professional development coordination
Systems and Administration
- Maintain accurate CRM data (Nationbuilder) and contribute to process improvements
- Coordinate logistics for workshops, briefings, and functions
What you'll bring:
Essential
- Minimum three years' experience in a similar executive assistant or senior administrative role
- Proven experience supporting executives and/or boards
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with CRM and project management systems
- Discretion, professionalism, and strong interpersonal skills
Highly desirable
- Experience in not-for-profit, environmental, or stakeholder-focused organisations
- Knowledge of governance and constitutional frameworks, and compliance requirements
- Experience with Nationbuilder and ClickUp (or similar tools)
- Tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Management, or related field
- Current Australian driver's licence
