ABOUT THE ROLE
Location: Hobart, Lutruwita/Tasmania
Basis of Employment: Part-time, 4 days per week.
Salary: $90,000–$100,000 pro rata

We’re seeking an Operations Manager to help scale and streamline our growing organisation. Reporting to the CEO, you’ll oversee finance, HR, governance, IT, and facilities, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
You’ll drive efficiency, manage compliance, and support organisational growth while leading a small team, including the Administration Officer and Executive Assistant.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and financial management skills are essential.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline. Professional accounting accreditation such as CPA or CA preferred.
- Proven experience in business operations management, preferably within non-profit or environmental sectors.
- Experience with financial management/oversight in an organisation with complex operations or running multiple projects.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities.
- Strategic thinker with proficiency in financial management and budget oversight.
- Experience in scaling operations and managing organisational growth is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Landcare principles and the environmental sector is advantageous.
