Want to know more about controlling weeds? Learn what you can do to deal with weeds on your property and about the different weeds in your yard, in the bush, or on the side of the road.

Everyone is welcome to join us on the 1st of February 2025

What to expect:

If you have ever wanted to learn more about weeds and what you can do about them, this is the workshop for you! We will hear about practical ways to control weeds at home, and see these methods in action on some weeds at West Strahan Beach.

We will also hear from local volunteer group Friends of the Henty about the work they have been doing in the bushland around the West Coast.

What to bring:

Morning tea will be provided. Please bring a drink bottle, notepad and pen, and some questions. If there are any plants at your place that you aren't sure about, take a photo and we can discuss it on the day.

This event is being delivered in partnership with the Healthy Harbour Project, as part of Landcare Tasmania's West Coast Project funded by the Elsie Cameron Foundation. The Healthy Harbour Project is funded by the Australian Government and delivered by Cradle Coast NRM
