Wildwood Landcare Weekly Working Bee

Wildwood

June 30, 2026 at 10:00am - 12pm

Wildwood is 14 acres of flood plain with a long frontage to the Meander River. Though badly degraded there are some remnants of native vegetation including myrtle, blackwood, native grasses and reeds. Our plans and aims are to revegetate the riparian zone with suitable natives to help with stabilization and flood control, to reestablish the frog ponds which drained out after the last major flood and provide native habitat and control weeds.

We hold weekly working bees on Tuesday from 10:00am to 12:00 midday, and every 3rd Saturday of the month from 10:00am to 12:00 midday. All are welcome to join, please get in touch to be added to our mailing list for updates.
