WHAT TO EXPECT:
Join us at ZooDoo to help get 1500 trees in the ground. The trees you plant will contribute to increasing connectivity for wildlife throughout the Pages Creek Catchment and improving the habitat of the threatened Green and Gold Frog (Litoria raniformis).
We will be on site from 9am-4pm, come along for the whole day or come for a few hours! All ages and backgrounds are welcome, no prior experience is needed.
WHAT TO BRING:
Please bring warm clothes and a rain jacket. If you have your own gloves then you might like to bring them, but if not, we will also supply gardening gloves. Wear sturdy boots. The ground will be uneven and possibly wet. Don't forget to bring your water bottle.
BYO Lunch or you can purchase lunch and a coffee at the ZooDoo cafe.
This event was developed in partnership with ZooDoo and contributes to the Pages Creek Catchment Restoration Plan as a part of Landcare Tasmania's Landscape Restoration and Community Outreach programs funded by the State Government's Landcare Action Grants Additional Projects Round.
