Far South Coastcare aims to look after our local coastal area and has been working intermittently for some time. We regrouped to foster better understanding of plover nesting sites along our few remaining wild beaches; with the local school designed and planted a Pocket Forest to link feeding sites for parrots and now our focus is planting a garden featuring edible indigenous plants.
We run working bees, and hold meetings with the Southport Community Centre.
New volunteers are always welcome.
