KLAG was set up in the 1980s when the Landcare groups in Kingborough were starting out and largely unincorporated. Its role is to advocate on behalf of the individual groups on matters of interest and concern to them. This advocacy includes but is not limited to lobbying local and state governments for funding.

At the upcoming AGM, all KLAG's current office bearers will be resigning their positions. These office bearers have held their roles for many years and are looking forward to a well-deserved rest. However, their imminent resignations risk the demise of the group.

Thus we invite any interested members to this important meeting that will decide the future of KLAG.
