Feral Cat Workshop Claude Road

Join us in taking practical steps to manage feral cats!

Claude Road 17th October

cat_kills.jpgWe invite you to come along and be part of our action plan for feral cat management. Hear how other local groups are doing their cat trapping projects and share ideas on how your group can target the issue in your patch.

In this workshop we will learn;

  • How to trap feral cats
  • How to start your own feral cat management plan
  • Legal do's and don't
  • What other landcare groups are doing in this space
  • Monitoring of feral cat populations

These workshops follow on from our recent info session in Ulverstone, and aim to engage other Landcare groups to be part of the next step in tackling the problem. Through practical planning and a coordinated approach you can help lessen the impact feral cats have on our wildlife and health.

This workshop has limited places available, RSVP's essential.

Note for group convenors: Please cap attendee numbers from your group to three people. If you have any questions, please get in contact with us on 6234 7117 or via [email protected]

If you are unable to attend this workshop, we will be holding a second workshop with the same content in Wynyard on the 19th of October.
