Sunday | Living With Ducks
Join the Pacific Black Duck Conservation Group for an early morning activity along the Meander River, looking at Pacific Black Ducks, Mallards and hybrids, how to identify them, the impacts of feeding and dumping domestic ducks, and how citizen science can help the group monitor duck populations. The morning will also explore the group’s work managing Mallards and protecting Tasmania’s native Pacific Black Duck.
Supported by Meander Valley Council as part of Landcare Tasmania’s Tasmanian Community Landcare Gathering 2026.
