Friday | Platypus Spotting along the Meander River

Enjoy a relaxed, one-hour stroll along the scenic banks of the Meander River.

Led by a knowledgeable local guide, you’ll explore the river foreshore, learn more about the fascinating life of the platypus and get some expert help spotting them in their natural habitat.

Arrive a little early and enjoy a drink at the Empire Hotel while you wait for your host to gather the group.

What to bring

Wear comfortable outdoor footwear and dress for the weather. As the walk takes place around dusk, bring an extra layer and be prepared for cooler evening conditions.
