Jess 
Executive Assistant

Jess grew up in Lutruwita/Tasmania. Her love for the natural environment led her to study a Bachelor of Human Health Science in Herbal Medicine and Nutrition at UNE and then much later, when Covid caused a reason to pause and reassess; a Diploma of Sustainability through UTAS.

Jess has been with Landcare Tasmania since 2023, starting as Events Coordinator, moving to Partnerships Coordinator and then Executive Assistant from October 2025. Previously, Jess has worked across multiple projects and events: Nayri Niara - Aboriginal-owned social enterprise, Okines Community House, and the co-creation and delivery of Pangaea Festival to name a few.

In her spare time, Jess loves putting permaculture principles into practice at home and spending as much time in the ocean as possible.

Jess’s favourite drink is the first cup of tea in the morning - without it, the day can not begin!
