With a background in high-performance sport, Nick transitioned into the environmental sector, driven by a desire to contribute to restoration and protection of the natural world. Prior to Landcare, Nick has worked in varying roles on construction, erosion control and revegetation projects while completing a Masters in Environmental Management. His published master’s research focused on restoration economics, exploring how ecological outcomes can align with financially sustainable models.
Nick brings a performance-driven mindset to his work, translating coaching principles and experience into effective project management and team leadership. He is committed to delivering practical, on-the-ground environmental outcomes.
Outside of work, he enjoys fitness, hiking, and time in nature. Nick’s favourite hot drink is a single-origin pour-over coffee (a self-confessed coffee snob).
