06 Aug 2024 | Following the success of our first TLF Plant Grant (2023-2024), we're thrilled to announce another round of funding for the upcoming year (2024-2025). This grant will be offered to Landcare Tasmania members who have an existing project in the Project Bank awaiting support for plants as a component of ongoing works.
Landcare Tasmania’s TLF Plant Grant is a small grant round to supplement ongoing member-led projects that include native revegetation. Successful recipients will need to prepare the site, control weeds, water the seedlings regularly in their first year, and keep a check on weeds in the future.
Shortlisted projects will receive an email in August 2024 with an invitation to apply.
The grant offers successful recipients up to 300 plants local to their native area, appropriate to the local site conditions, for the purpose of enhancing native biodiversity. Funding for a total of 3400 plants, guards & stakes is available in this round. Funds are for planting during the 2025 planting season.
We hope the TLF Plant Grant will provide a valuable boost to our members' ongoing Landcare projects. If you are interested in grant opportunities like this, we invite you to become a member and submit a project expression of interest to our Project Bank.
This opportunity is made possible by the generous contributions to the Tasmanian Landcare Fund. We aim to offer this grant annually, depending on the availability of donations.
The Tasmanian Landcare Fund Plant Grant to Members contributes to our Member Support Program and has been made possible through contributions from the JM Roberts Charitable Trust.
