Kingston Beach Coastcare

Our group works to restore the coastal, riparian and marine habitats of Kingston Beach, Browns River and Tyndall Beach.
We are currently concentrating on:
1) restoring the promenalinah/Browns River Saltmarsh at the end of Balmoral Rd
2) removing marram grass from Tyndall Beach and revegetating
3) planting in the Christopher Johnson Memorial Park
4) removing weeds and replanting the northern end of Kingston Beach.
We will start work in late 2025 on the Alum Cliffs Track where forget-me-nots and foxglove are moving into bushland there.
We collaborate with groups including Conservation Volunteers Australia and Whitewater Creek Landcare.
New volunteers are always welcome!
