Kingston Beach Coastcare

Our wonderful members usually meet on the morning of the last Sunday of the month for a couple of hours to restore the coastal, riparian and marine habitats of Kingston Beach, Browns River and Tyndall Beach.

We are currently concentrating on the promenalinah/Browns River Saltmarsh restoration site at the end of Balmoral Rd, Kingston Beach; the Tyndall Beach Carpark Coastal Erosion Mitigation Project site; the bush track behind Tyndall Beach; also Kingston Beach itself. We work to improve the entrances to all these areas in particular.

We conduct rubbish clean-ups and Northern Pacific Seastar removal efforts too. In 2024 we expect to offer more nature-based activities for young and old.

New volunteers are always welcome! You can find us on Facebook; we have a public group.
