As you may know, we recently wrapped up our 'Match it in May' Fundraiser. Thanks to funding from the Elsie Cameron Foundation, we had the opportunity to raise $150,000 for Landcare action. We’re happy to announce that we surpassed our goal!

With many donors generously supporting our cause, we received $75,475.42 in donations.
In addition, our Art Auction Fundraiser raised another $5,600 dollars, with beautiful pieces generously donated by various lutruwita/Tasmanian artists. Check out the donated art here.
With the Elsie Cameron Foundation’s pledge to match, we've raised over $150,000 for grassroots Landcare in lutruwita/Tasmania.
There are over 5,000 passionate and dedicated Landcarers who are already doing critical work for our soils, flora, fauna, waterways and communities. This funding means they'll get a boost, and continue their vitally important work with less financial burden, more volunteers, and more resources.
We are blown away by the incredible support we've received, and are so grateful to everyone who donated, to the Elsie Cameron Foundation, and to everyone showing their support for Landcare. Your contributions will help protect and restore the soils, waterways, flora, fauna, climate and communities that make up our beautiful island.
In particular these funds will support:
- More resources for on-ground Landcare activities, training, and networking events.
- Additional guides, resources, and technical advice for our Landcarers.
- Better support for volunteer recruitment to get more people involved.
- Personalized phone and email support for Landcarers seeking guidance.
- Less administrative burden for our Landcarers, so they can focus on what matters most.
- Continued advocacy for government and non-government support.
- Greater publicity to spread the word about the remarkable work of Landcarers
- Overall improvement and expansion of our five programs.
Reach out to find out more about how your donations will be distributed and stay in the loop to hear about the amazing work of local Landcarers.
Thanks to all who were part of this wonderful fund and awareness raising campaign.
