Community Landcare depends on a foundation of well-resourced members. Local people have a sense of ownership and long-term connection to place. Within our Landcare Leadership program, we empower our member groups to be a force for change within their local communities. We provide guidance on issues such as insurance, volunteer recruitment, succession planning and governance. We support groups to deliver impactful projects, engage volunteers safely and alleviate the administrative demands of running a volunteer Landcare group.

Landcare Tasmania offers Volunteer Worker Accident and Public Liability to all our member groups. Insurance is funded through the LAP grant, generously provided by the Tasmanian State Government.
