Update to 2026 Member Grants

Tasmanian Landcare Fund (TLF) Annual Round 28 (2026-2028)

After careful consideration, Landcare Tasmania has decided not to open an application process for TLF Round 28 this year. Instead, we will use the available funds to support previously unfunded applications from TLF Round 27.

Why we’ve made this decision

TLF Round 27 attracted a growing number of high-quality applications. While this is a very positive sign of the strength of Landcare projects across Tasmania, it also meant that many well-designed, projects could not be funded due to limited available funds.

Rather than asking members to reapply or duplicate their previous submissions, we believe it is fairer and more efficient to prioritise those existing projects that missed out in TLF Round 27.

This approach allows us to:

  • Support members who have already invested time and effort into strong applications.

  • Avoid requiring applicants to duplicate information across multiple rounds.

  • Get good, ready-to-deliver projects on the ground sooner.

  • Make the best use of limited funding in a way that recognises the strength of previous submissions.

What this means for members

If you submitted an application to TLF Round 27 that was assessed as fundable but was not supported due to budget constraints, our team will be in contact with you directly to discuss next steps and any additional documentation or information that might be required

There will not be an invitation to apply for new applications under TLF Round 28 in 2026

We understand that some members may have been preparing new project ideas for TLF Round 28. We encourage you to stay connected with us regarding future funding opportunities, including upcoming devolved grants and the next annual TLF round being delivered in 2027.
