Established in 1999, the Mount Roland Land Care Inc. is a not-for-profit group based in the Kentish Municipality. In its early years, the Group was focused on rehabilitating local waterways.  In recent years, the Group has broadened its range of activity and now aims to build environmental and community resilience to counter the impacts of a changing climate through a range of environmental rehabilitation projects supported by broad community participation.  The Group has well over 100 members.The Group organizes regular public events, including Spring and Autumn tree planting, seasonal weed control; and various public presentations throughout the year. See Mount Roland Land Care on Facebook
