The portion-of-profits model is a great way to demonstrate your commitment to the environment while raising awareness and needed funds for Landcare with every sale. Donations over $2 are tax-deductible.
Some examples include:
- Committing a percentage of profits of a particular product’s sales
- Donating an amount of money per product sold (e.g. “$2 for every item sold”)

Cindy from Devine Objects is a textile artist who has set herself a goal to stitch 5000 Trees exploring the amazing and complex life of trees, through the 5000 Trees Project.
As part of this ambitious project Cindy wanted to give back to the environment, so she has chosen to donate $2.00 for every tree she stitches into her 'Tree Collection' to Landcare Tasmania for the Tasmanian Landcare Fund.

Francesca Jewellery, based in nipaluna/Hobart is committed to becoming an environmentally conscious company, that's why they have designed their Conservation Charm. For every charm sold one tree will be planted by Landcare Tasmania volunteers.

How your donation is managed
Landcare Tasmania's Board acts as the management committee of the TLF, ensuring that all funds are managed in line with the Constitution and objectives of Landcare Tasmania. In grant rounds awarded to members, an independent technical panel of experts assesses each round of member applications.
Value added: All donations are value-added by members who volunteer their time and other resources. Your donations help us raise the voice of community Landcare, attracting funding partnerships and collaborations to add even more value to your dollar. Importantly, all funds raised stay in Tasmania.
