Revegetation Techniques Training (South-East)

In this free training event you will learn how to plan and establish native vegetation on farmland or your backyard. The workshop will provide all the knowledge to do successful projects on your own from start to finish. Whether you want to establish long shelterbelts, control erosion, or revegetate a gully, you will learn how to select plants, prepare the ground and maintain your plants.

 

Admission: Free for Landcare Tasmania members. Check if your group is a Landcare Member Group here. If you are not an Individual member or part of a Member Group, please consider signing up or get in touch.

Registration mandatory

 

What to wear and bring:

- A warm coat and wet weather gear, as the event will be partially in the open

- Boots that can get a bit muddy

- A chair to be more comfortable

 

 

About the speakerHerbert Staubmann

Herbert of Habitat Plants Nursery has been growing native Tasmanian plants for 30 years. He has extensive experience in working with farmers and other landowners designing plantings for biodiversity, production and other landscape benefits.

This event is part of Landcare Tasmania's South-East Landscape Restoration Project, funded through the Tasmanian Government's Landcare Action Grants.
