We acknowledge that we live, meet and care for the land of the Mumirimina people. The land was never ceded. We pay our respects to the Palawa past and present. Since 1991, Southern Beaches Landcare Coastcare (SBLC) volunteers have been caring for the coastline from Lewisham and Dodges Ferry through Carlton, Carlton River and Primrose Sands. SBLC is an award‑winning volunteer group working across Council and Crown reserves to restore dunes, protect wildlife habitat, strengthen climate resilience, and deepen local knowledge of this special place. We run regular nature bees, look after local reserves, and deliver projects that support the health and resilience of our Community, Coast & Country.Interested in getting involved? SBLC membership is open to everyone and helps support hands‑on action, community learning, and the long tradition of locals looking after our Coast & Country together. We offer two membership options — Full and Concession — both covering you as the Primary Member plus up to four additional household members. Families, couples, housemates, and carers can all join under one membership; simply include their names and ages when signing up.Memberships run annually, and we’ll send you a friendly reminder when it’s time to renew so you can stay connected and continue supporting the work we do together.Join our membership community — Full $10 | Concession $5 Membership.
